Sawyers Valley Primary School P&C Annual General Meeting 2015

By attending any of our meetings you can become a member of the P&C.
Membership is voluntary but only financial members have voting rights.
Financial membership costs $1 per year and can be paid at any P&C meeting.
As this is our Annual General meeting we will be electing all the positions of the P&C. All positions are open and nominations can be made on the day or by nomination forms available in the office. Forms are to be returned to Mr Sawers – the Returning Officer.
Positions open for nomination are:
President – Meeting Chairperson and the public face of the P&C team. Handles all internal and external enquiries and ensures the P&C observe the legal formalities. Co-ordinates the P&C team. Works alongside the P&C team members.
Vice President – Assists the President. Chairs meetings when the President is absent.
Secretary – Records meeting minutes and is responsible for correspondence.
Treasurer – Maintains the financial records, issues receipts and pays invoices.
Executive Committee members (3) – Attend Executive and General meetings, take on various roles and along with other members and parents organise various fundraising events such as raffles, sausage sizzles, socials, stalls etc.
General Committee Members – Attend general meetings and organise events along with other members and parents – you can decide on your level of involvement.
We hope you attend our next meeting to have a cuppa, make some new friends and find out more about the P&C.
