Yesterday the children from Rooms 1,2 and 3 went on an excursion to explore some of their local community. The Kindy and Pre-Primary children started their day with a Nearer to Nature experience at The Hills Forest Discovery Centre while the Year 1 and 2 children visited the No.1 Pump Station at Mundaring Weir. Everyone then met back up at the Weir to walk across the bridge that stretches across the water. The bus was waiting on the other side and the children finished their day with a sausage sizzle at Sculpture Park, a scavenger hunt, exploration of the heritage railway site and of course a play on the amazingly transformed playground. Thanks to all of our wonderful parents and grandparents who assisted on the day. The children had a fantastic day!!
