Did you notice how clean the approaches to Sawyers Valley PS was on Monday of last week? This is because our students spent 40 minutes cleaning up in and around our school.
Generally our school was very tidy, with little rubbish. However the same could not be said for the surrounds! Bags and bags of rubbish were collected with many interesting items found. The photo shows how much rubbish was collected in 80 metre stretch of Sawyers Road,
from the front of the school down to the creek. We would like to thank Mrs Murphy for organising the cleanup and a big thank you to all the kids who donned the gloves and walked out around the school picking up rubbish for the afternoon. If we all work together we can help keep Australia beautiful!
