We are now ready to build our fridge worm farms!

A WORM FARM Busy Bee is planned for Sunday the 9th of September. We will meet up in the early childhood playground at 10am.

Children, tools, food, and especially Dads/Grandparents are all very welcome!
We plan to assemble our 2 fridge worm farms on site and prepare them for their industrious wormy inhabitants.
Please come along if you have a few hours to spare – or if you want to learn how to build a worm farm from scratch! If we have enough ‘hands’ on deck we will extend our efforts out into the garden to prepare some of the infrastructure for our fabulous new nature-based play space.

The Steiner School, Silver Blossoms in Parkerville will be hosting tours of their Sustainable projects from 9am – 4pm on that day as part of the SUSTAINABLE HOUSE open day. Community members are invited to come along!

Please see Fiona Kent (Gardener) or Danielle Murphy (Room 2 teacher) for more information.
